I want to know is by law that they can tow your car off the freeway with out giving you notice that it would be towed if it is not removed within 72 hours or within a period of time.

Sorry we cannot really give you much advice on this. Your best bet is to call the local bar association and ask a local attorney versed in local traffic law what the rules are in your municipality. You might also go to your local library and ask for a copy of the municipal law governing this. The ticket you get might list the local municipal ordinance that governs and you can look that up.
